The leadership team is very caring and concerned about everyone here, patients and staff alike. They have a wonderful team taking care of all of my medical needs as well as both physical and occupational therapy.

Being able to chat with other residents becomes an important part of many peoples' lives and Hearthstone the Nursing Home offers common spaces indoors to support that need. The benefit of living in an assisted living community is that making meals can be costly and time consuming process so Hearthstone the Nursing Home provides meals for residents. Unlike traditional nursing homes, Hearthstone Nursing & Rehabilitation specializes in caring for high acuity short-term patients and providing compassionate long-term care.

The residents and staff have been welcoming and helpful all along the way and I have appreciated how light and open it feels here at Hearthstone. Selecting a place to spend your final years is a difficult, and very private, decision. My wife and I moved into The Hearthstone about a month before the pandemic shutdown. And after several months of living here under shutdown conditions we are so pleased with our choice.
With roots in the Lutheran Faith dating back to its inception in the mid-20th century, The Hearthstone honors the faith’s core values of safeguarding, nurturing and caring for all people. Today, The Hearthstone enjoys a reputation as Western Washington’s leading continuing care retirement community, welcoming people age 62 or greater of all faiths, genders and orientations. This review is to help prevent anyone from experiencing the tragedy that my family experienced at the hands of the York General Hearthstone nursing home. I would never recommend this place nor would I ever place anyone I love in their care again. Their staff, though they boast great care, are incompetent with alzheimer and dementia patients, leaving them to wander and fall throughout their poorly monitored facility.
Is it the Right Time for Senior Living?
The facility is located off Barnett road, next to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. The facility accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most insurance and managed health plans. On-site Nurse Practitioner and Physician services are available, as well as complimentary transportation from the hospital to the facility. Ever since the new company took over Hearthstone I have seen so much improvement.

Since moving into Cove East, over 7 months ago, we can now say that we love our new home. BUT, we are so glad to be living in this community of like-minded neighbors. Even though we only know each other with masks, we have found everyone at Cove East to be friendly and caring. We are all anxious for the day when we will be able to socialize in person.
It was wise of them to choose the name they did, as their facility feels home-like, comfortable and loving. My move into the Hearthstone’s Cove West, just over a year ago, was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My criteria for the decision included; a facility with a continuum of care, flat terrain for walking, located in or near a vibrant community, and, of course, value. All my criteria was met at the Hearthstone in the Green Lake Neighborhood, with the added plus pleasant, welcoming neighbors and a staff ready to assist me in any way.
